Job Description:

The primary duties of the Front Office Manager are to ensure guest satisfaction and overall efficiency of front office, to train staff as outlined in the Training Procedures, and ensure staff is prepared to provide excellence to our guests and visitors at all times.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
  • Managing the daily operations of the Front Office Department.
  • Supervising, training, scheduling, and evaluating front desk employees.
  • Ensuring compliance with Hilton brand standards, company policies, and guest service procedures.
  • Resolving guest concerns and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Monitoring room inventory, occupancy levels, and front office revenue performance.
  • Coordinating with the housekeeping, maintenance, accounting, and sales departments to ensure efficient hotel operations.
  • Preparing operational reports and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, labor cost control, and departmental expense management.
  • Monitoring cash handling procedures, night audit operations, and front office financial controls.
  • Participating in hiring, employee development, and performance management initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, security, and hospitality industry regulations.
  • Lead by example.
  • Assists with procurement of operating supplies for all departments.
  • Implements and maintains Front Office and Housekeeping department minimum standards. Responsible for the hiring, training, and supervision of property front office staff.

Qualifications:
Knowledge/Education/Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk during entire shift.
  • Long hours are sometimes required.
